I started Rhode Athletic because I was sick of being disappointed.

I'd buy activewear online, get excited, open the box — and it would be less than I expected. The material wasn't right. The fit wasn't right. The legs would roll up mid-squat. The pockets I didn't read about weren't there. The breast cups would move around or get stuck in the washing machine, and then I'd be playing with them at the gym trying to get them back in position.

But the worst? The G-string roll-up. Going to the toilet after a session and having to put a sweaty G-string back on. Tying my keys into my G-string because there were no pockets. That friction, every single time, made me not want to work out.

And I'd always have to buy black. Black, black, black. Nothing wrong with black — but it's not me. It didn't make me feel confident. It didn't feel like me even when I go out with friends. I wanted color. I wanted to walk into the gym and feel like myself, not like I was wearing someone else's kit.

So I designed the activewear I'd been looking for.

Squat-proof legs. A waistband that stays put. Pockets that actually exist. Breast cups that don't move or get stuck. Organic cotton lining in the Lets Be Nude Range so you can wear your favorite underwear — or nothing — without that sweaty, rolled-up mess. Colorways that are bold to make you feel confident, plus moisture-wicking that actually works.

I didn't want something that was pretty but didn't function, or that functioned but wasn't pretty. We need both. There's no reason you can't look amazing and feel supported in your activewear.

Because here's the truth: if you don't feel supported, you won't want to work out. Removing those little frictions — the adjustments, the discomfort, the "I don't feel like me" feeling — that's what makes it easy to stay healthy and strong.

Every set I make gets tested through my own training. Hyrox races. Marathons. F45 sessions. Real workouts, real sweat, real life. If it doesn't work for me, it doesn't go in your closet.
